About the Club
The Club

Since then the club has become a Registered Charity, grown in numbers, strength, skills and expertise, with members from age 12 upwards. Membership is open to anyone – junior (12 to under 19 years old for Junior League – the age limit for Nation League matches is 14+), adult, male or female, disabled or able-bodied players.

What training is covered in the sessions:
This session is designed to improve the individual skills of every club player. We work on chair skills, ball/dribbling skills, and passing skills. These are vital to learn and then continue developing whether a player is new to the sport or plays at the very highest level.
Fees
Consistent training sessions are crucial for players to hone their skills and the team’s overall development. The Leicester Cobras offer a diverse range of training opportunities for their players. Membership fees are mandatory for all players and are paid through a Standing Order. These fees are required even if a player cannot attend training sessions, as the club incurs court hire expenses regardless of attendance.
Future Targets
To continue the development of wheelchair basketball and to bring the sport of wheelchair basketball to as wide a group of people as possible.
Leicester Cobras hopes to enter four teams in the BWB’s national leagues. These teams are:
Leicester Cobras-1 in the 2nd Division South
Leicester Cobras-2 in the 3rd Division South and East
Leicester Cobras Juniors in the Under 19’s National Junior League
Leicester Cobras Ladies in the 2nd Division Women’s League.
